Why will Outlook not send message?

When I send a message it goes to the out box but will not send. The problem
is intermittant as is does send occasionally. Tools/Options/Mail
Setup/Send-Receive is checked 'send immediately when connected'.

Do you have your antivurus set to scan outgoing mail? Don't.
