Why windows Installer go always when I start access 2003 or access runtime 2007 applications

Hello at all,
in my office I have 3 pc (xp pro sp2) They have access 2003 and the
runtime access 2007 (because I have some applications make in access
2007). This is the behavior:
I start access 2003 then close it. Now I start the access 2007
application and I have Windows Installer that start to install Access
Runtime 2007. Few seconds of time and all work well...
Now I open access 2003 and I have Windows Installer that it start to
install the Access 2003. Few seconds of time and all work well.
If now I start a access 2007 application then Windows Installer start
again to install Access runtime 2007 and so on....

This behavior occurred after a massive Windows Update (because these
computers were left behind with the updates for long time..)

Please can you help me to prevent Windows Installer always starts?
Thanks. Roberto

Hi Roberto,

This is the normal behavior, although I agree it is annoying. Access
2007 SP1 made the transition much faster, but it sounds like you
probably already have that. Otherwise it would be more than a few
seconds. :)

What's happening is that many registry entries are being modified for
each version of Access when it launches.
