why won't an instrumental song play in powerpoint

I have been trying to insert an instrumental song into my powerpoint
presentation, but it just will not play. I have inserted other songs from the
same cd, and they play with not problem. Please help...

I am running Windows XP Home Edition with Microsoft Office 2003.

Hard to come up with an anwers without more facts but for sure being an
instrumental makes no difference. Is there anything else different about this
track?

Can you maybe rip and convert the file.
