Hi Caroline,

To install a Microsoft Office 2003 product upgrade CD
you'd need to have previously installed or have
the CD from an upgrade qualifier package.

=======When I tried to download Office 2003, it told me that "setup failed to locate
a valid qualifying product on your machine" then gave me the option of the
c:/ drive or the D:/ drive. So if anyone knows how to help me, please let me
know, because I REALLY need this cd to work! >>

1) May I suggest that we learn the correct terminology? That way, we
don't make a complete tit of ourselves when we post.

Download: - To copy data (usually an entire file) from a main source to a
peripheral device. The term is often used to describe the process of copying
a file from an online service or bulletin board service (BBS) to one's own
computer. Downloading can also refer to copying a file from a network file
server to a computer on the network.

Install: - To ready software for use by copying files from the installation
media.

2) The next thing I'd recommend is a trip to the optician as you
obviously failed to notice the big red upgrade flash emblazoned on the front
of the box.

3) Help yourself - the clue's in the error! Why on *earth* did you
purchase an *upgrade* when you didn't have a qualifying product?!
