Why won't typed URL turn into clickable links?

Using Office 2007 since updating from 2003, but now I find URLs and web
links I type do not change colour and become clickable links.

Appreciate advice.

In Word 2007 check this location. Click the Office button, Word Options,
Proofing, Autocorrect Options, "Autoformat as you type" tab and check the
setting for Internet and network paths and make sure there is a check mark
there. Then click the same setting for Autoformat tab. Make sure you OK
out to set it.

Let us know if this corrects your issue
