Why Word shows fields M__ and M__1?

I have a Word document that was merging with no problems with a Access
database. I modified the database and Word started to show only two
empty fields: M__ and M__1.
Do you know why is that?

I just realized that the query from I got the data does not apear
anymore when trying to connect to the database. Only apears the others
querys and tables.
