Why would a formula stop working in an Excell spreadsheet?

Number one Giraffe

We are using a spreadsheet that has been functioning correctly for several
months, suddenly the cell containing the formula ceased to function.

Has anyone experienced this and is there a remedy??

Check tools, options, calculation, and check automatic if it is not checked

Tools>Options>Calculation tab, Check Automatic

Yes, don't worry. Just follow the steps as under:

Click - Tools on Bar on top of Excel window,
Select - "Options",
Go to "Calculation" tab and
Just ensure that in Calculation Box "Automatic" is checked.
