Why would you be unable to rename an unprotected worksheet?
D Dave Peterson Aug 16, 2006 #2 It's not the worksheet protection that stops this. It's the workbook protection. Tools|Protection|protect workbook|checking structure will stop insertion/deleting/renaming and moving of worksheets.
