Earlier versions of Access 97, I think, won't work on a machine with 1GB
or more of RAM. I don't believe this is a problem in fully patched
versions of Access 97, nor in later versions of Access.

limitation on any software)

Not true. However, Access 97 will not run on a computer with 1 GB
or more of RAM UNLESS you install the latest JET service pack.

I run Access 97 and greater on local machines with 1 GB or RAM. I run Access
2002 on a Teminal Server with 4 GB of RAM. I have no problems with either
setup.
