Will future versions of WSS and Office play nice via FBA?

We are using MOSS and Office 2003 with Forms Based Access. Persisting the
cookies for authentication helps, but we are hoping Microsoft will provide a
clear roadmap for usiong these technologies together.

Will future versions of WSS and Office play nice via FBA?
