Will installing OneNote 2007 hose my Office 2000?

In my search for a suitable application, OneNote comes highly acclaimed, so I
want to try it. But, I have to keep Office 2000 on my laptop for
compatibility issues with my clients.

If I install OneNote 2007 beta, is this going to damage my Office
installation? Will the uninstall really uninstall? I've read:

http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview/beta/sysreq.mspx

and it seems benign....

Thanks

ON 2007 won't do any harm to your other applications.
You just can not use all of the fucntionality (namely the
inter-operability with Outlook which requires Outlook 2007).

Apart from that:
The Batas are a thing of the past.
The retail versions will appear soon (ON 2007 has appeared for clients
with Voume Licecenses a while ago).
And for bridging the the gap until it appears in the shops, there's a
fully functional trial version available for download):
