Will MS OneNote be released for the Macintosh operating system?

T

Tom

I recently purchased an iMac. I purchased Office for the Mac, but sorely miss
OneNote. There is absolutely nothing close to this fantastic program on the
Mac.

Thank you

Not anytime soon - it's a pretty major deal to port it to the Mac and
realistically, especially since there are no Mac Tablet PCs, it's probably
not cost-effective to do so.

There is a "Notes" view of Word 2008 that is supposed to be sort of close.

What about running Parallels or something like that in order to run the
Windows version under OSX?

Hi Tom,

To follow-on to Ben's reply Word:mac 2008 has tabs available in a document, although I've not used that version to evaluate its
features fully, you can see a brief glimpse of Notebook Layout view in the demo here.

You may want to also followup with the folks in the Word:mac discussion group through the link below.
