Will Not Print Time/Date or Headers/Footers

My Word will not print Time/Date or Headers/Footers. It just prints this or
similar {TIME \@ "dddd, dd MMMM yyyy" }. Can anyone help???

In Word, click on Tools | Options | Print tab | uncheck the
"Field codes" box | OK.
