Will Office 97 run on XP?

I just bought a new computer, which has xp installed.
Will my old Office 97 run under xp, or do I need to
purchase a new copy?

Office 97 will run just fine on Windows XP.

Occasionally, after installing Office 97 on Windows XP or Windows 2000, a
user
may receive the following message: "Microsoft Access can't start because
there is no license for it on this machine." This problem is due to a
misbehaving font. The fix for that problem, should it occur, is found at:
