will Outlook 07 with Busn Contact Mgr work with an Exchange Serv?

We are currently using Act 2006 for Workgroups, but Outlook 2007 with the
Business Contact Manager in an Exchange / Sharepoint environment seems like
it would be a better solution for us. But, I cannot find any information
about whether it is a desktop solution or a server-based solution. Please
help.

BCM 2007 is mostly a desktop app but you can store the shared database on
your SBS server. It does not synch as part of Exchange but you can take a
copy of the database with you on a laptop, then synch while away from the
office via VPN or when you return to the office and connect to the LAN.
Outlook synchs via Exchange independently from BCM and BCM will link the
email messages to business contacts just fine.
