Instalation of Office Enterprise 2007 is aborted. Message says "Error 1913.
Setup cannot update file C:\Windows\win.ini. Verify that the file exists in
your system and that you have sufficient permissions to update it". I have a
Windows system file called "win" with no extension, but there is no win.ini.
I'm using XP Media, and I currently use Office 2000 with zero problems. Any
ideas? Can I duplicate the "win" file and rename it win.ini for the
installation. then delete one or the other afterward?

Open MSConfig and you will find win.ini. As far as your issue with Office 2007 Enterprise goes, I suggest that you get in touch with the IT person at the company from where you purchased this version. They are the ones that are able to help you with the Enterprise Edition of Office
