win XP crash on editing doc files word 2003

I am experiencing a win XP crash when editing doc files especialy when they
contain tables. I found this over the internet "Beware Word docs: New bug
crashes Windows XP, 2000" at

is there any patch or fix from microsoft about that?
I am prety sure I am not infected with anything..Thanks
