Win-XP Fax , Folders

Fred Farzan

I use Windows XP Professioal fax
Build 2600.xpsp2.030422-1633- Service Pack 1

I check the appropriate check box to keep all INCOMING- faxes
(successful and unsuccessful) in the archive folder, but I never see
the failed faxes in any folder. Is there special folder were these
will be archived in ??

Any help with this matter is appreciated.

Thanks
Fred

I don't understand your question. If fax reception fails, there is no fax to
display, right?

Russ:
This goes back to another question I had regarding reception error
messages.
if Win-XP cannot figure out exactly what the error code is, then it
will not display a fax that was partially received, or received with
errors in it. I can see that this check box has no use with
fax/Modems that are not qualified for WinXP.

Can you give me a link to find Compatible Hardware list for xp ?

Thanks
