Hi,
Using visual basic macros (and probably with AppleScript) in Word, Excel,
and PowerPoint you can set the window position.
In Entourage you may be able to use AppleScript. Here's a snippet from the
Entourage AppleScript dictionary:
window n : every window
elements
contained by application.
properties
class (type, r/o) : the type of window
bounds (rectangle) : the boundary rectangle for the window
The "bounds" property is the first one I would check out, or look for a
"border" property.

Is there a way to set the default position on the monitor for a new
window, such as starting a new email message? Currenly a new window
goes to the upper left corner, & I would like it in the center.
Thanks,
Pat
