Hi Everyone
Not sure if anyone can help me but I have a peculiar
thing happening. I am running Excel XP with Windows XP.
I have a link posted on a website that points to an Excel
file. If I DO NOT have another Excel file open, the file
opens up fine when I click the link. However, when I
have another Excel instance open, a strange thing
happens. When I click on the link, another window will
show up in the task bar, but when I click on it, both
files (the one I just clicked and the other Excel file I
had open) will be in it but in 2 windows.
What I would like it to do is to open another independent
Excel window.
Does anyone know why this is happening? I've played
around with the "Windows in Taskbar" option but it hasn't
help my cause.
Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated!!
