WIndows 2000 Lockup

Been running Word 2000 for 3 years. All of a sudden, it
now locks up when I hit the application icon. Cont-alt-del
brings me a message that resources are dangerously low.
Have 128 MB ram and it's 81 persent free when I reboot and
check. All other programs run fine.
