Windows 98, 2nd Edition and Excel

After many years of working just fine, I get this message
when trying to open Excel:

A required.DLL file, MS097.Dll, was not found.

What am I to do? p.s., I am not computer genius, but not
totally illiterate, so I should be able to understand some
simple instructions.
