Can somebody please tell me how to get onto the Windows 98

There are about 10 newsgroups that support Windows 98, but each supports a
different aspect. They all begin with microsoft.public.win98.

It looks like you're connecting to the groups through Microsoft's web based
news page. If that's the case, go here:
http://communities2.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx
On the left side, you'll see a menu broken down by language. Choose the
appropriate one (I'm assuming English
) and click the following:
- United States
- Windows
- Windows 9x
- Windows 98
From there, you'll see links for several different groups. Choose the one
that best matches your need. If you're not sure, start with "General."
