windows 98 open dialog box vs XP

When I used 98 version, while in the open dialog box, I could type one word
and hit enter and a new list would open within the open dialog box that
contained all the files that included that word in the title. I am now not
able to do that in XP.

Is there a way I can change this?

And your question about Microsoft Office is...? But in Windows XP, you
can start Windows Explorer (Start | All Programs | Accessories | Windows
Explorer), click on Search, and enter a search term in the "A word or
phrase in the file:" box.
