Windows configures Word every time

After reinstalling Windows XP and reinstalling Office 200, I get this message
every time I start Word: "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft
Office 2000 Small Business". This takes 1à seconds or so, and then Word
opens. How can I stop this?
