Windows Installer appears when opening Access 2003

When I open Access 2003, the first thing to appear is a "Windows Installer "
window stating that it is preparing to install, the window then states to
wait while Windows installs Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003.
Access finally does open and I can use the program. This same process takes
place when I first click on an Access database and Access then opens to run
the database.
I've applied a detect-and-repair as well as an uninstall and reinstallation
of the whole Office 2003 Suite, to no avail.
Are there any further suggestions to remedy this problem?

I saw and read your support link, but it applies to Office 2000 aplications.

And no, I have but only Office/Access 2003 installed.

This seems common.
Does anyone know how to get Access up and running past this installer
glitch??????

It explains in depth how to solve it and it certainly worked for me.
