windows installer cleanup problem

Help! I ran the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and now I can't rerun setup ( for Office2003 Upgrade for Students&Teachers on WinXP Home). I did the original install on a partitioned drive, logical letter E: (I have since removed that partition). When I tried to run setup, got an error (1327, Invalide Drive E:/). Tried reassigning the CD drive to E:, then got setup running and it got to the point where it said there was insufficient room on E: to do the install. Tried copying the entire install CDROM to drive C: and ran setup off there, but it still complains about drive E:. Is there a file somewhere I need to delete to get rid of this reference to drive E:? Right now, I can't use anything in Office, because supposedly it is not installed, even though all the files and directories are there
