Windows Installer Cleanup

I ran windows installer cleanup about a week ago. Now Word and Excel do not
work, and an error message appears saying "This action is only valid for
products that are currently installed."
These programs came with my operating system.
How do I go about getting them to work again

Re-install them. Have your product key ready.
Windows (Operating System) does not come with Word and Excel. These are Office
products.
