Windows Installer for Office 2003

R

rasta1979

I installed a new hard drive and migrated the programs to the new hard drive.
Now when I try to open a microsoft office 2003 program, it gives me a
windows installer error and that "the feature you are trying to use is on a
network resource that is unavailable.".
If I uninstall office and reinstall it, will I lose all of my documents that
I have created with office? How can I fix this problem? Is the source still
on my old hard drive?
Thanks

rasta1979,
You cannot "migrate" Office to a new drive. It must be installed on the new
one.
It's likely that even if you try and install Office on your new one the
installer information will be scewed, and try to read the "migrated" version.
You may have to reinstall Windows and try again.
How did you "migrate"? If your files are still available and on a network,
you could drag and drop into the new drive documents file.
