Sandy the uninstaller

Every since I "tried" to uninstall Office Professional 2007 because it
created havoc on my system, I get the Windows installer popup anytime I open
a MS office application (2003). It doesn't allow me to cancel the pop up for
several minutes, which creates many problems.

any advise?
