Windows keeps configuring Outlook

Just installed Outlook 2007. Whenever I send email get popup that windows is
configuring Outlook and gathering needed information. Is there a way of
resolving this? I already tried uninstalling and getting rid of leftovers in
the registry. Then reinstalled and same problem.

Peter,
Tried it but now Outlook will not open. I will have to reinstall it and try
something else. Error message stated to reinstall. Thanks anyway.
