Windows Live Mail & Microsoft Home Office and Student 2007

I am using Windows Live mail (WLM) as my default account. When I try to use
the address book when addressing an envelope with Word, I get this error
message: "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client
cannot fulfill the messaging request."
Is WLM compatible with Microsoft Home Office and Student 2007? If so how can
I fix this problem?
I've been in Windows and Windows Live Solution Centre to try to find an
answer to no avail.
Can anybody help?

AFAIK MS Office will only use Outlook Contacts as an address database -
unlike a certain free rival which can use any address database you care to
configure...

These are the 2 messages I get: "Either there is no default mail client or
the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Plse run
Mocrosoft Outlook and set it as default mail client." and: "Log on failed.
You must logon to Microsoft Exchange to access your address book. Error code:
Unspedified error".
I have Window Vista Home Premium (WVHP) and IE 7.
I never used Outlook because I could not get it to work with WVHP. I used
Window Mail until recently when I upgraded to Windows Live Mail (WLM) which
is now my default mail account. When I first downloaded WLM, it stated that
it replaced Outlook and Window Mail. WLM works good other than this
compatibility issue with Microsoft Words.
I tried to logon Microsoft Exchange....I am not sure what i am supposed to
do there!!!!

As I said in my reply - AFAIK MS Office (i.e. Word) will ONLY use OUTLOOK
Contacts for its address data - it WON'T work with any other email client.
I don't know where this error message about "Exchange" is coming from....
