windows login screen capture

How can I capture a Windows login screen to paste into a document? Alt-Print
screen doesn't work until Windows starts. I got a trial version of Snag-it,
but it appears to work after Windows starts too. I searched Google images and
found several, so I know it can be done, but I would like to show our
organization's login screens.

The easiest way is probably to use something like Microsoft Virtual PC
(http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtualpc/default.mspx) so that you can
boot an imaginary computer in a window on your system. Then you can screen
capture it.
