Windows mail and office (Vista)

How do I email a document from Office directly from Office using Windows
Mail? I can save the document and them open Windows Mail as send as an
attachement but that is too cumbersome.

Do you also have Outlook or only windows mail?

Only Windows mail and it is set as the default mail.

the article also applies to Office 2007, but just in case I'm wrong, you
should back up your registry before fiddling with it.
