For the past week we have been unable to open our Word
program on a pc with a Windows ME application. The other
programs in our Office Professional work perfectly.
But if you try to go into Word, the machine completely
freezes and stateas that the following error has occured
Error OE: 019F: BFF8E64B
The machine then refuses to allow you to go back to
windows from the blue screen, and you are forced to reboot
the pc.
We have tried takung off word and reinstalling it, without
success. The problem just happens over again. It must be
an error in Windows ME causing it, or some kind of
conflict with another program. We have checked the pc for
viruses and there are none, all latest Microsoft updates
have been installed.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions as to how we
can overcome this problem??
