windows me wordpad error mswrd832cnv

when i try to open a document it comes up with an wordpad
error mswrd832cnv. wordpad will now close. try restarting
computer. that doesn't help. does anyone know how i can
fix this?? please help.

you may have to consider uninstalling the program, and
then reinstalling it again.

also make sure that you run the updates for it.
