Windows ME

I guess it depends on the version of wine. I can't remember how it
exactly goes. I remember using a Linux distro.

In the terminal
you would type wine /dos/disk3/windows/program.exe

I did get forte agent to work with wine but it was a pain plus the
fonts in Linux looked are weird.

I had some modem problems that why I didn't switch to linux. I still
considering a switch to a mac or a linux for my next computer because
you can run some windows software without wine.

Of course I've heard of WINE (please capitalise acronyms) but, TTBOMK, WINE
won't run on a Mac (see http://www.winehq.com/site/download).

Someone in Mac group, told me it did because it was built on a FreeBsd
http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/unix/

Maybe someone tweaked WINE to run using the freebsd version.

Anyway, even if that does not work. You can still install Linux on
Mac and then use wine.

The Macosx has on feature that Windows xp does not do real well.
Windows xp can not run older windows software very well. Some yes.
The Macosx can run older Macintosh software including the older ie
version for the Mac.

MS don't do refunds for stupidity....

WTF are you recommending I change my ISP?! You know nothing about my ISP!
Why would I change from an ISP I'm perfectly happy with to one that installs
a virus on my system?! Why would I want viruses on my computer? That's what
AOHELL is, you know, a *VIRUS* - or, more accurately, a Trojan.

Or were you responding to the OP? If that's the case, I suggest you learn how
to post....

A Trojan: -

Masquerades as a benign application. Just like AOHELL

One type claims to rid your system of viruses, but instead lets them in. Just
like AOHELL. Don't be fooled by AOHELL's AVP and firewall - they're useless.

Is nigh on impossible to remove without reformatting. Just like AOHELL (in
fact, most Trojans are easier to remove than AOHELL).

You may be happy using AOHELL's trojanic software. I, OTOH, value my computer
(why would I want to deliberately infect something I paid £2,500 for?!)

I can't help how agent2 post by the way. I was actual responding to
both of you the op & you.

Yes, Microsoft does refund up to 30 days for any reason. So she can
return her office professional edition 2003 if this is for xp
