Windows Media Player and PowerPoint Mac

I have video files that are in Windows Media format and my powerpoint
will not read them. Is there a fairly simple way to convert them for
use in my presentations. Or, should I go back and download the
quicktime version. We are talking a lot of files and time. I would
really like to get something to bridge the two versions.

Thanks,
Amy

You could try the Windows Media Components for Quicktime
(http://www.flip4mac.com/download.htm). I'm not sure that will work but
it's worth a try (and free).

The free version works great for playing files, but only the for-charge
version will allow you to convert windows media files to quicktime. So
you'll have to pay up if you want to use those .wmv files in your powerpoint
shows.
