Windows not returning to their last opened positions

I opened the Outlook Tasks window and added a task. I also made centered and
enlarged the task window. (i.e. changed the size and location from the
default)

On closing the Task window and re-opening it, the Task window returns to
it's default location and size. i.e. it does not remember the size/location
from when I closed it. It used to do it, a few weeks ago.

What do I need to do to resolve this?

You might want to force Windows to save the screen size then. To do this,
hold the CTRL key when pressing the X in the right top corner of the window
to close it.

Tried but makes no difference.

Outlook, normally, remembers the last window locations and size and ensures
that when u re-open the same window again (Tasks, Contacts etc), they re-open
in the same location and are of the same size as they were before we last
closed them.

So, something in the Outlook setting seem to have amiss and is causing
outlook to forget this.

Pls help.

AnandJ.
