I have windows XP and am getting a new computer that has windows vista, is my
office 2003 version compitable to Vista, do I need a patch ?????

Original Equipment Manufacturer. Some computer companies such as HP,
Dell, etc. offer MSFT Office for a reduced price when you buy your
computer. Your version of Vista on your new computer will also be OEM.
Generally OEM software has the same functionality as does retail but
the license is different and you're not allowed to move it to another
computer.
