windows xp chart wizard (con't)

i must be asking wrong question
trying to get B2:B11 along vertical axis
A2:A11 along horizontal axis

1) select B2:B11.
2) click chart wizard.
3) click the type of chart you want
4) click the "Series" tab
5) click the box next to the "Category (X) axis labels" and select
A2:A11
6) click Finish

hope that works.

Put a non-numeric label in B1, leave A1 blank, run the chart wizard.
