i recently upgraded my operating system from windows me
to windows xp. i was (am) running outlook 2000 from the
office 2000 professional suite. whenever i boot my
computer, i get a windows installer dialog box that
eventually calls for my outlook 2002 cd. i put in my
office 2000 cd but it can't find a usable file. i can
cancel the install, and when i go to help|about menu, it
shows outlook 2002, which i have never installed. i've
tried to reinstall outlook 2000 but xp only wants to
install outlook 2002. does anyone know why this is
happening? by the way, my other office components still
show 2000...like excel 2000, word 2000, etc.
