Windows Xp Desk Top

I was dragging a weather web page to my desktop
and it now appears in the top right corner of my desk top and all the other shortcuts are highlighted. How do I get rid of the highlighting. Thanks in advance for any help.

Please repost your question in a Windows XP newsgroup. This newsgroup is at
the first of a long list, just because the name of Microsoft Office's database
management system (Access) happens to be first in alphabetical order. Scroll
down the list and repost please!
