Windows XP file association problem with Access 95

I am running Access 95 on my Windows XP Home machine.
Access runs fine and opens my database files if I start
the program first, but if I double-click an database file
to open it nothing happens. The files appear to be
associated with Access and show the Access icon. Thanks
for any help.
