Windows Xp Media with Office Basic Edition 2003

Claire

I purchased the "Home Use Program" of Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007. I
downloaded, found I did not particularly care for the Word 2007 and Excel
2007. I tried to delete them from my computer and return to my 2003 version.
Now I don't have access to the 2007 Enterprise but I cannot access Outlook
2003. I can access the Outlook Express but it does not have all of the
features of Outlook. The message I get when I try to offen Outlook is:
Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook MAPI 32.DLL is corrupt or wrong
version. I would really like to clean up the mess I made.

Most Outlook dll go into the Outlook folder under program files,
however there is a MAPI dll that goes in windows\system32, I believe.
If you can find and delete that dll and reinstall Outlook 2003--which
will put its version of that dll in system32.
