Windows XP Pro + Server Extensions

Got XP pro & FP2002, is there way to install server extensions so that I can Publish locally and check things out before Publishing to web? I tried download for extensions but got error pertaining to IIS? when trying to install.

You have to install IIS first, from Control Panel | Add/Remove Windows
Components.

By default on Win XP Pro IIS is not installed
Control Panel Add Remove Programs Windows Components to add them,
then see
