Windows XP Pro Trial Version (120 days) included with Office Beta

Does anyone know if one is required to upgrade to Pro following the trial
period, or if Home Edition is allowable? Thanks!

What has this to do with MS Office (other than the fact it was included with
the Beta?) The trial version is /NOT/ a qualifying product for either Home
or Pro so your question is pretty irrelevant. You may upgrade ot Home if you
have 9x (though 95 is only a qualifying product for a clean installation) or
ME. If you already own an NTFS-based OS (NT/2000) then you may only upgrade
to Pro.

I should have preceded the topic with an OT; I am sorry for this.

To elaborate, I have ME, and was wondering, if I installed the trial of
Windows XP Pro, if it would be necessary to upgrade to Pro, rather than Home
Edition.

The question is however no longer relevant; thank you for your help.
