Windows XP service pack 3

N

nicole

My computer is trying to install the service pack 3 update for Office XP. It
keeps saying to go to my XP disk and then tells me it can't find the file on
my Windows XP Home edition (version 2002) disk to finish the installation.
Then I tried downloading the service pack from the microsoft page that it
said to use if the CD wasn't working - it still prompted for the CD and then
can't find the file it needs to do the install.

Any suggestions on what else I can do to get this service pack, as I am sure
it is necessary for my computer.

The update is looking for the Office XP disk not your WinXP disk.
Put your Office XP disk in the installation drive.
