WinINet error 12110

Phillip

Hi,
I posted this about 6 months and on the general question page, but have
never resolved my problem. I maintain a web page using FrontPage 2000 on my
Windows Vista Home Premium computer. When I go to publish my changes I get
the following error:

An unknown WinINet error has occured (code 12110)

If I close the error message and click on Publish again and repeat the
process over and over the update will finally work.
Last time I was referred to various pages at Microsoft and jumped from page
to page from there. The information I found was just the listing the error
message. Nowhere did I find a solution to my problem.
Can someone tell me how to resolve this problem?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

That error means the ftp session is already in progress.
Are you uploading large files?

Hi, thanks for you response,
No, the only program I have open is Front Page and even if I just opened
Front Page and haven't made any changes to any of my files I still get the
error.
Is there a way to check if there is a ftp session in progress and if so how
to end it?
Thanks again,

Perhaps you need to talk with your web host.
