winword causing invalid page fault-HELP

computer= 500 celeron,196 ram,win 98se. Last night I installed a fax
card and it tested ok, rather than the supplied fax software I
installed winfaxpro 10.02 and now when I start winword,part of office
2000, I get the following message:
This program has performed an illegal operation
WinWord cause an invalid page fault in module VBE6.dll at

I had this EXACT setup on another machine and I have never had any
problems
I unstalled winfax, no change, reinstalled(over existing) office
2000,no change,unistalled and reinstalled office 2000, no change,
reistalled win 98, no change.ALL OTHER office apps word fine,and
everything worked fine before, its just winword.I have a copy of ME
and I'm think of upgrading to that.If any body can help fix this I'd
be most appreciative (my girl freind even more so,it's her computer).
